Refund Policy

Last updated: 13 July 2026. This policy applies to purchases from Purrytale (“we”), operator of purrytale.com.

1. What you’re buying

You buy prepaid credits. You spend credits to generate audiobooks.

2. Generated audiobooks are not refundable

An audiobook is digital content that is created and delivered to you immediately. When you click Generate, you expressly ask us to start creating it right away and you acknowledge that you thereby lose your right to withdraw from (cancel) that specific audiobook. Because of this, minutes that have been spent on a generated audiobook are not refundable.

3. Unused minutes — 14-day withdrawal right

If you are a consumer in the EU/EEA, you have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal on your purchase. We honour this for unused minutes: within 14 days of a purchase you may request a refund of the minutes from that purchase that you have not yet spent, refunded pro-rata to what you paid. Minutes already spent on audiobooks are not refunded (see section 2).

Example: you buy a pack, then generate one story. You can refund the remaining unused minutes from that purchase within 14 days; the minutes used on the story are not refundable.

4. How to request a refund

Sign in, then use the button below: it shows the refundable amount from your purchases in the last 14 days and returns it to your original payment method. Refunds are processed via Stripe and typically appear within 5–10 business days.

5. After 14 days

After the 14-day window, minutes are non-refundable but do not expire — you can keep using them.
